Some dude sitting in a swivel chair hundreds of miles away, drinking coffee, deciding who lives and who dies. See my new journal for my full opinion on UCAVs
Look carefully at the picture. Those are Maverick Missiles on the wings of that Predator. They've been used as a missile platform all throughout the War on Terror. Several key Al Qaeda leaders have been killed by missiles fired by Predators.

This description is a simplified explanation to get people to check out my journal and sound off. You're comments, without reading the journal and getting the full story, are un-warranted. If you want to get the full story, then weigh in, you're more than welcome. Otherwise, thanks but no thanks.

Unmanned vehicles have a greater part in the military everyday. There's the Reaper, the bigger Predator that can carry 500lb bombs and in the works the UCAS to do full fledged bombing runs instead of F-117s or B-1s.
While I like having our pilots out of harms way, there is very severe moral implications.

Yeah, there was a Reaper doing flybys with this Predator. None of my shots of the Reaper turned out though. They were one of the last things to fly and the light was really low. I don't know, maybe as a pilot, I'm just bitter about the potential of losing my job to a RC airplane.

A brand new monthly article which showcases some of deviantART's finest equine artists, as well as recognizing the lesser-known but equally talented ones. Interviews, helpful tutorials and features can all be found here too! I hope you enjoy it.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
